Camp Summary

“Wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow.”― Anita Desai

We have named our Home – Maulsari, named after a medicinal plant indigenous to Uttarakhand. Maulsari is nestled in the lap of nature, at a Hamlet in the Shivaliks. With unobstructed valley views one can cherish the pine forests, paragliders landing, etc and when the sun goes down – the starry skies come out to keep you company.  Our homestay is suitable for accommodating  small families, a group of friends, etc. 6 people can be easily accommodated in 2 rooms.

Location

Our homestay is located in the village of Kyar Kuli on the Dehradun – Mussoorie road. The diversion road  comes just after crossing Mussoorie lake. After taking a left turn from Dehradun – Mussoorie road, you have to drive a km to reach the parking. From the parking, you have to walk down 100 meters to reach our homestay. The rooms and drawing room  faces the pine forests and village farms on one side. The evenings and mornings are quite picturesque.

The close proximity to Mussoorie ensures our guests a lot of peace time.

Accommodation

We have 2 fully furnished bedrooms with balconies and attached washrooms. Bathrooms are fitted with electrical geysers and rooms have heaters. Both the rooms have tea/coffee maker. The rooms have table and chairs for your small workspace. All linens, blankets, and towels are provided by us. The bathrooms have proper toiletries.

Our travelers usually find the smaller their luggage is, the more they enjoy the trip without having to worry about carrying heavy bags! Aim to keep your main luggage under 15kg.
