“Here’s to freedom, cheers to art. Here’s to having an excellent adventure and may the stopping never start.”- Jason Mraz

Some of the unbeatable memories are made during camping. The startling touch of the hilly chills, the captivating aroma of the warm campfire, the outstanding interactions and an extraordinary night under the bright stars – camping is all about this. Camping is also about reconnecting your soul to a newer set of adventures amongst the wilderness of nature and into the woods, but why? Because sometimes it’s ok to make time go wasted to relish the true happiness you always wanted to seek. And this is where Bagheera River Retreat, Rishikesh brings your secret fantasies to reality.

Bagheera river retreat is located 15 minutes hiking distance from Rishikesh – Badrinath highway.  Your trekking expedition starts right from the hanging bridge over river Ganges to reach our camp. Once you cross the hanging bridge, hike up another 5-10 minutes to reach an unmatched landscape covering river Ganga and its long sandy beaches welcomes you to this beautiful nature retreat. Overlooking delightful Shivalik ranges and stream Ganges, Camp Bagheera is situated amongst the best camping areas encompassed by forest and beautiful mountains. For the individuals who wish to enjoy adventure activities or the individuals who wish to appreciate the quiet environment and natural air, Camp Bagheera is an ideal gateway to revive your faculties and relax up your body, brain, and soul.

There are a total 24 tents at Camp Bagheera with attached washrooms and private sit-out. Each tent has two single beds while 16 tents have provision of extra beds as well. All washrooms have western toilets with running water facilities. Washrooms are also equipped with showers for bathing purposes. The tents are well spaced from each other so that your privacy is not compromised. The tents have porch style sitting arrangements too for enjoying the vicinity.

Keeping in mind the relaxation of our customers, there are various sitting and relaxing points at both upper and ground level. At our porch, Peacocks & Himalayan birds can be frequently seen at dusk & dawn while you are relaxing and sharing your stories with your friends.

Plenty of open spaces at the campground ensure that you get ample opportunities to connect with nature.
