Camp Summary

“Here is a great day, here is a perfect choice! A camp in nature! What else do you need? You don’t have to dream because you are in a dream now!” ― Mehmet Muratildan

Glamping Tales by the Riverside near Bhimtal is a one-of-its-kind experience for travelers seeking solitude in the lap of nature.  From the main road, climbing down 100 m on the hill slope is no less of an adventure in any way. Tucked in a lap of pristine forest, a rugged hill slope houses 2 geodesic domes and 3 luxury tents scattered on rocky banks of gurgling Kalsa river. This small retreat resembles a private space where travelers enjoy in the company of friends and family. The geodesic tents with plush linen and a 5-star feel give the whole experience a definite edge. The hike down the valley leads you to a pristine river bank, where the meandering river takes a momentary pause – as though stopping to enjoy the bird songs of the beautiful valley. One can enjoy sitting by the river and a short hike leads to small natural pools where one can have good fun. The evenings are as mesmerizing as the mornings, with bonfire and music to lighten up the mood. The starry nights and the sound of the river are sure to leave you with memories to cherish for a long time.

Location

Glamping Tales is located on the banks of the Kalsa river near a small village called Tada. This is near Chanfi, approx 15 km from Bhimtal. The last 5 km of road is slightly bad in condition and from the road it is an approx 150 mtr walk down to the camp. The camp faces the river and has forest on 2 sides and village farms on one side. The evenings and mornings are quite picturesque.
