Rafting Overview

Shivpuri River Rafting Slots (Timings): 7 am, 11 am, 3 pm

You have to reach and meet us in Tapovan (Rishikesh) as per above timings for rafting.

Age Group: 18 to 20 years

Minimum Weight: 45 kgs

Maximum weight: 100 kgs

Grade: I, III+

Best Season: 2023

Note:

Forest entry fees of Rs 20 to be paid extra at rafting point.
Smoking and Alcohol is strictly prohibited during rafting.
Senior Citizens, Pregnant Woman, Diabetic, BP, cervical, knee problem, heart issue patients will not be allowed for Shivpuri/Marine Drive/Kaudiyala rafting.
Avoid rafting if you have any kind of fracture, injury or any other medical complications.
Do consult your doctor if you are fit for rafting.
Minimum age for rafting from Shivpuri/Marine Drive/Kaudiyala River Rafting is 18 years.

Important Disclaimer: Sometimes, due to rainfall in higher Himalayas, the level of river may rise overnight. Considering the safety, it might effect rescheduling of rafting time, Changing the rafting stretch to lower grade (difference will be refunded) or shift the rafting to next day. The final decision will be of the Rafting guide, as he has years of experience and he will not compromise in the safety of our guests.

Rafting Itinerary

16 Kms Meet us at the given time slot at Tapovan in Rishikesh (main Badrinath highway). Our rafting guide will meet you at Tapovan.

Get on to the raft vehicle and we will drive uphill from Rishikesh to Shivpuri. After reaching Shivpuri, our guide will brief you with basic of rafting along with safety instructions. Do follow all the instructions of the rafting guide.

Rafting will start after you are equipped with all the safety gears like helmet, jackets, etc. Rafting will start from Shivpuri. Enjoy the rapids and when still waters comes you can also do body surfing (floating in River Ganga along with the raft). You can also do the cliff jumping (adequate water level should be there for cliff jumping. Rafting guide decision will be final if he allows you for cliff jumping or not, keeping your safety as the first priority).

Reach Neem beach, you can change your clothes at the changing room. Our raft vehicle will be there, you will be dropped back to Tapovan after Rafting. Our Shivpuri rafting services in Rishikesh will end here.

GENERAL NOTIFICATION

Rafting activity is subject to the weather conditions / Ganga water level / Government Instructions.
Marine Drive Rafting is allowed only for people above the age of 18+ years. Elderly people are also not allowed for Marine Drive to Rishikesh rafting.
Visitors are requested to report at Rafting office in Tapovan (main Badrinath Highway) in Rishikesh. Pickup for Rafting is from Tapovan Office.
Customers are required to book their Rafting through Rafting Operators / Online Agencies only.
Visitors are required to sign a disclaimer / liability waiver form on arrival.
Rafting, Body Surfing & Cliff Jumping activities are subject to the weather conditions.
Rafting Entry Rs 20/- Per Person to be Paid by Visitors (Slip issued by Govt).
In case of road blocking due to traffic jam, landslide, storm or any other natural disaster etc. we shall not be responsible for any refund of fare.
Visitors are requested to do Rafting early in the morning at around 7 or 8 am to avoid the huge Jam in Tapovan to Shivpuri Road.
Near Monsoon season, only 9 kms (from Brahmpuri) of Rafting would be provided. Whichever would be permissible by Govt after seeing the Ganga water level.
Anybody found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, medically or physically unfit (any serious ailment, weak heart conditions, epilepsy, asthma, expecting mothers etc) unfit for any reason/s in the wisdom of the river, guide/instructor will not be allowed the rafting trip or undertake any other adventure activities. Request for a refund or a discount in such circumstance/s will not be entertained. Decision of the river guide / management in this regard would be final.
Bulky clothes, saree, necktie, long skirts, suits are not permitted. Shorts, T-shirt preferably of synthetic material, floaters / sandals, sunglasses with strings are recommended.
River Rafting is on sharing basis.
Rafting is not allowed for the persons above 100 kgs of weight.

Transportation included with raft transporting vehicle only from Tapovan in Rishikesh to Rafting Point only.
Transport from NIM Beach to Tapovan after rafting only.
All class rafting gear (rafts, life jackets, helmets, dry bags).
Experienced river guides and kayak professionals with International Certifications for white water rescue and First Aid/CPR.
River running permits.

Exclusion

Medical, evacuation (emergency) hospitalisation and rescue expenses.
The Wall Rapid is not included.
Any kind of personal expenses.
Any kind of transportation beyond the trip route & place of stay.
Anything not mentioned in inclusions.

Cancellation Policy

Within 15 days of Arrival Date/ No Show: No Refund
15 Days to 30 Days prior to Arrival: 50% of the total package cost.
30 Days & More: 10% of package cost (and taxes are not refunded in any case)
Note: No refunds in case of Road Blocks, Accidents, etc
